Though we often serve as consultants or as a referral center for other veterinarians when they have a difficult case involving feline medicine, we utilize specialists either indirectly on a consultation basis or directly by referring you to them. These include veterinarians specializing in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, thoracic medicine, dermatology and behavioral problems. If we can’t find the answer, we do everything within our power to locate someone who can.

    SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT

In addition to our experienced medical team, we offer advanced medical equipment designed to meet the specific needs of cats.

    • Our heated surgery tables, post-op recovery cages, and intensive care units help prevent hypothermia during and after surgery.
    • Constant body temperature monitors ensure our patients don’t experience a rapid drop in core body temperature when under anesthesia.
    • Oxygen Pulse Oximeters measure blood oxygen levels, increasing safety during anesthesia.
    • Our in-house digital dental X-ray unit helps detect dental disease.
    • Intravenous Infusion Pumps, which administer small volumes of IV fluids, are ideal for pint-sized patients.
    • Our hospital’s unique air exhaust system was custom designed to eliminate exposure to infectious diseases.
    • Intensive care units in our main treatment area allow constant monitoring of critical care patients.
    • Isolation units, which house patients with infectious diseases, are located away from general medical and surgical wards.
    • In-house laboratory diagnostic equipment.
