 Some enthusiastic practitioners will tell you that being a veterinarian is in their genes. For Dr. Lester, that’s not an exaggeration. His mother, father, and brother are all veterinarians, and after a brief stint as an actor, he too pursued his childhood dream at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lester says he quickly earned a reputation in veterinary school as one of the few men who gravitated to the cat cases. In 1999, that enthusiasm and passion for felines also earned him a position at Cats Exclusive. Outside of practice he volunteers his time, to the Feral Cat Spay and Neuter Project in Seattle.
