 Dr. Fligiel has always been interested in working with animals. After earning a zoology degree in Wisconsin she moved to California where she worked with many species of wildlife. But when two kitten brothers came into her life they convinced her to follow her dream of becoming a veterinarian. At the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine she focused on feline medicine and emergency and critical care. Over the years she has contributed numerous volunteer hours working with shelter and feral cats. She joined the Cats Exclusive team in 2003.
